The 9AN is the flagship model
of the Commander series of advanced flashlights, it
incorporates two independent lamps in a single reflector to provide either a
super-bright 140 lumens for 40 minutes, or, by rotating the bezel, 20 lumens
of general illumination light for 2 hours. The 9AN Commander is
precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminium, finished in super rugged
military specification Type III hard anodizing (available in Black), and features an optically coated, tempered Pyrex lens window. The
9AN000 is the flashlight only (no charger) and comes with one B90
rechargeable battery.
The 9AN is also available as a complete system: the
9AN415, which comes with two B90 batteries, a Smart Charger that uses
microprocessor technology to protect the battery and charger from the
voltage spikes typical of automotive and marine electrical systems, and an
AC transformer and DC auto adaptor. The 9AN also features unique switching
originally developed for law enforcement- twist for constant on, or depress
the tail cap button for momentary illumination or emergency signalling. The
9AN Commander is perfect for the law enforcement officer or civilian who
needs a high output tactical/search light and a long-running general purpose
light in one rechargeable package.
